The 2016 Maitland Show
Due to numerous requests the Maitland Show Committee has decided to hold our 2016 Maitland Show on SATURDAY 12th MARCH 2016. Save this date in your diaries and come along for a family day of fun and activities.
The 2016 Maitland Show Committee is already busy planning the exciting entertainment for the day. We have some of the old favourites returning as well as some new entertainment.
Radio personality Peter Goers will be opening our 2016 Maitland Show.
Gary Baxter will be returning with his V8 utes for some more action on the Elias Smith Oval.
We have many competitions for you to enter from floral sections, garden produce, preserves, crafts, children’s sections, photography and much more. Click on the exhibitors tab above to see the full range.

"Welcome to our 138th annual Maitland Show to be held on Saturday, 12th March 2016. Please note the change from Wednesday to Saturday and share it with your friends. Its time to showcase Maitland to Yorke Peninsula & the many visitors who come to the area on a long week end. We are trying to make it an entertaining day for workers, families and visitors alike. The committee is putting in a huge effort to make the day a success. All are invited to enter in the many competitions, exhibits, stalls & produce. Peter Goers from ABC Radio will open our Show. Our programme has something for all including: horses in action, Whip Industries Motorbike Stunts, Snaparazzi Photobooth, an all new V8 simulator, V8 utes, and finishing with the very popular fireworks. This year we have an all new sideshow lineup – including sizzler, octopus ride, ferris wheel, extreme bungeys, dragon wagon roller coaster, shark slide inflatable, dodgem cars, chair o plane ride, super trucks carousel, water balls, large jumping castle, laughing clowns, shooting gallery, high striker game, pluck a duck.
